Travel and Transport Information for ECP 2026
Getting to the Congress Center
- Getting there by train
Stockholm is well connected by rail, with frequent national and international services arriving at Stockholm Central Station, the city’s main hub. High-speed SJ trains link Stockholm with major Swedish cities such as Gothenburg, Malmö, and Uppsala, while long-distance routes connect from Copenhagen and Oslo. From Central Station, reaching Stockholmsmässan is easy: simply take the commuter train (pendeltåg) toward Södertälje or Tumba and get off at Älvsjö Station, just a 10-minute ride away. Stockholmsmässan is located directly next to the station, making the final transfer quick and convenient.
- Getting there by car
Stockholm can be reached via major highways such as the E4 from the north and south and the E18 from the west. To get to Stockholmsmässan, follow signs toward Älvsjö and the exhibition centre, which is situated just south of central Stockholm. The venue offers several parking areas on-site, and clear signage along the approaching roads makes it straightforward for drivers to find the convention centre.
- Getting there by taxi
When using taxis in Stockholm, it is advisable to choose well-known and reputable companies such as Taxi Stockholm, Taxi Kurir, or Sverigetaxi, as pricing among operators is not regulated and can vary significantly. Always check that the car displays clear pricing information on the yellow fare sticker on the window and confirm the approximate cost with the driver before starting your journey. In the main entrance, Stockholmsmässan has clear signs indicating which taxi companies they cooperate with. We recommend that you choose one of these companies. Only these companies are permitted in the designated zone.
- Car Park
Stockholmsmässan has a total of 2,000 parking spaces in its garage and in the open parking lots around Stockholmsmässan. There are also around 300 parking spots in the nearby area.
Parking fee
Pay for your parking time with the app EasyPark or Parkster. The area code can be found on signs located in the parking area.
• Parking garage: 65 SEK per hour or 190 SEK per day.
• Outdoor parking: 55 SEK per hour or 170 SEK per day.
In addition to the above fee, a transaction fee may be applied depending on the app and contract you have. The payment machines also take cards.
