Social Events
Social events at ECPs are an integral component of networking during the Congress.
- Please note that participation in these events is subject to a separate fee and is not included in the standard congress registration.
- Participants who registered for the congress prior to 29 April 2026 are kindly requested to contact the ESP Registration Team at ecp.registration@mondial-congress.com in order to receive their personalised booking link for social events.

Opening Ceremony
Saturday, 12 September 2026 | 19:00-20:00 | Victoria Hall, Stockholmsmässan
The official Opening Ceremony of the 38th European Congress of Pathology will take place in Victoria Hall at Stockholmsmässan. During the ceremony, there will be words of welcome by the President of the ESP and the Chair of the LOC.
All registered delegates are invited to join the Networking Reception in the exhibition area afterwards.

The Opening Ceremony is not part of the registration fee and needs to be booked extra during the registration process.
The official Opening Ceremony of the 38th European Congress of Pathology will take place in Victoria Hall at Stockholmsmässan. During the ceremony, there will be words of welcome by the President of the ESP and the Chair of the LOC.
The ESP Foundation has kindly assumed the respective costs as a hospitality gesture for all delegates attending on-site in Stockholm. No additional funding will be provided by the MedTech and Pharma industries.
