ESP Prize for Innovation in Pathology

ESP Prize for Innovation in Pathology

ESP is proud to announce the launch of a new abstract prize to be inaugurated during this year’s ECP in Vienna: The ESP Prize for Innovation in Pathology.

The prize recognizes groundbreaking advancements that are shaping the future of diagnostic medicine. It has been established to honour individuals or teams who demonstrate exceptional creativity and impact in pathology, including novel technologies, transformative research, or pioneering clinical applications. By celebrating innovation, the award highlights contributions that enhance diagnostic accuracy, improve patient outcomes, and advance the pathology profession.

All submitted abstracts, which have been accepted as either oral presentation or physical poster for the scientific programme of the Congress, are evaluated based on originality, scientific merit, and potential for lasting impact.

Out of those submissions a maximum of three abstracts will be selected and will be awarded the ESP Prize for Innovation in Pathology consisting of a monetary grant of EUR 500.

The winners will be announced during the Closing Ceremony on Wednesday, 10 September 2025, and will receive information regarding the monetary grant via e-mail.
